Half Day Rides - Rides will depart from the Wallowa Lake Pack Station up the road to a timbered meadow. Take the West Fork Trail to the Ice Lake Trail cut-off where you will have time to stop, dismount, stretch your legs, explore the West Fork of the Wallowa River and even have time for a snack (approx 1:45 ride up, 20-30 min off the horse)! You will return down the West Fork, take a cut-off trail across Bonneville Mountain, hit the East Fork trail where you can see a panoramic view of the valley and Wallowa Lake, and return back to the pack station. Approx 3:30-4 hours.

All Day Ride - Rides will depart from the Wallowa Lake Pack Station up the road to a timbered meadow. You will continue up the East Fork Trail 6.5 miles to Aneroid Lake (approx 3 hours to the lake). You will have ample time to rest, take in the gorgeous scenery of the Wallowa Mountains and enjoy the lake (approx 2 hours at the lake). Fishing gear may be rented or you may bring your own! The return trip will come back down the East Fork Trail where you can see a panoramic view of the valley and Wallowa Lake and return to the pack station. Approx 8 hours.

Rules

All participants must read and sign a release waiver prior to partaking in any horseback activity. Weight limits are in place and anyone over 200lb must alert the office staff when booking so we can provide an appropriate sized horse. Any physical handicap should be identified so we can make arrangements to suit those needs.
